Borrow

We’re still in the process of setting up our Library of Things, so membership isn’t open yet.

All Share Skipton borrowers must register as members; it’s free to register and anyone over 16 years old can become a member. You can become a member on our Library of Things website (coming soon), which will open in a new window.

You will need to set up a member account using their debit or credit card, before it’s possible to borrow any items. Borrowing charges and late return fees will be deducted from that person’s debit or credit card, so please always get their permission before borrowing items.

We’re still in the process of setting up our Library of Things, so it’s not possible to borrow things yet.

When the library opens, once you’ve become a member, simply head over to our Library of Things site (coming soon - it will open in a new window) and browse the catalogue, reserve the item/s you’d like to borrow then collect it/them from our shop in Skipton.

When our Library of Things is up and running, items can be collected and returned to our shop in Skipton. Please visit our Contact page for our address and opening hours (coming soon).

If you have a problem with an item you’ve borrowed, please either call into our shop when it’s open (see our Contact page for our opening times - com)ng soon) or send us an email at hello@shareskipton.org and we’ll be in touch as soon as possible.

If there’s something you’d like to borrow which we don’t have in our Library of Things, you can send us a message using our request form and we will add it to our wishlist. While we’ll try our best, we unfortunately won’t be able to meet all requests.
